For many people, spaghetti with tomato sauce and meatballs is a Sunday dinner classic. The recipe which we are about to talk about slightly transforms this traditional recipe by "swapping" ingredients.
This time it will be the meatball that contains an abundant quantity of spaghetti! Have we confused you? Well, just follow our recipe step by step, and prepare a dish that will leave your guests speechless, but with their mouth watering!
Begin by cooking 150g of Angel Hair pasta. Drain it when it is cooked and put aside the cooking water.
The ingredients that you need to make the sauce:
60 ml oil
garlic
1.5 liters of tomato sauce
fresh basil
salt and pepper
red chili pepper and oregano

Prepare the sauce by mixing the oil, tomato sauce, basil, salt, pepper, and oregano.
Stir well to mix the ingredients and let it simmer.
Once cooked, pour a ladle of the sauce into the Angel Hair pasta to season it and keep the rest for later.
Now it is time to prepare the lean ground beef meat!
The ingredients that you need to make the giant meatball:
- 2 kg of lean ground beef meat
- 1½ diced onion
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 60 g bread crumbs
- 30 g Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Mix into the meat the following ingredients in this order: onion, eggs, parsley, garlic, salt, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and water.
Mix the ground meat well, using your hands, and place a third of the meat in another bowl and put aside.

Line a very large bowl with aluminum foil then put the ground meat inside and press it against the sides of the bowl to create a concave shape.
Fill the opening in the ground meat with Angel Hair pasta and close it again using the rest of meat that was put aside.

Make sure everything is very well compacted.
Preheat your oven to 180 ° C and cover the meatball with another sheet of aluminum foil, leaving a hole at the top to let the heat escape.

Bake for about an hour.
If there is some cooking liquid in the pan, drain it with the aid of a plate.

Take the meatball out of the aluminum foil, put it on a large plate and pour the remaining sauce over it.
As a final touch, grate some Parmesan cheese over the meatball.
