There are recipes for fried milk in several countries. There are traces of this recipe in southern Italy and Liguria (northwest Italy), but what we present today is the traditional Spanish version.
Its preparation is quick and, above all, the result can be adapted to your taste! If, when you have finished cooking this dish, you want a touch of sweetness, then sprinkle the fried milk squares with a mix of powdered sugar and cinnamon. The ingredients needed to prepare this recipe are:
1 liter of whole milk
6 tablespoons cornstarch
6 spoons of sugar
100 grams of white flour
1 whole egg
Vegetable oil for frying

Gather all the necessary ingredients making sure to sift the corn starch before using it.

To heat the milk, pour it into a pot large enough to hold the entire liter.
Add the corn starch, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
In any case, if there are any lumps you can use an electric hand blender to eliminate them.
Pour the mixture into a rectangular silicone pan to cool. This will facilitate the cutting and removal of the mixture from the container itself.

After cooling, cut the solid mixture into squares pieces.
Dip the squares first in the flour and then into the beaten egg mix and put them on a plate.

Fry them while being careful to leave enough space between them to avoid sticking together.
