Born with deformed legs -- an operation saved her from certain death!

Wanda is a beautiful four-month-old Cocker Spaniel puppy that was born with a severe deformation in her front legs, which made it impossible for her to walk -- so her owners thought the best thing to do was to put her to sleep and end her life.

Nevertheless, a courageous veterinary surgeon, despite the odds, decided to try for a miracle and save her by rotating the ulna bones in her legs by 180° and fixing them into place with pins.

Fortunately, the operation was a complete success and now that Wanda has made a full recovery she can enjoy her "new" legs ...
