Be cool and stay COOL with Geizeer! :)
On the hottest days of the summer, finding a way to escape the high temperatures while staying in the office or at home seems impossible! Many environments do not have a cooling system and furthermore, some people, are very sensitive to the cold air produced by air conditioners.
Two Italian architects, Diamiano Iannini and Ferdinando Petrella, newly graduated from the University of Rome; encountered these same problems! However, unlike many others, for them, these problems were a source of inspiration.
They have recently presented their project in Italy, and fortunately, this gadget also has a lot of appeal to entrepreneurs around the world! It is called Geizeer and it is an innovative air conditioning system, housed in a small compact device that uses cooling gel technology.

They define it as an "eco-friendly aerator" and it looks like a wooden cube with its simple and modern design.
With this compact and portable device, you can cool an entire room for four hours. It comes with a rechargeable battery that is fully recharged in seven hours via a USB port.
Geizeer refreshes air within a 360-degree radius contemporaneously, unlike the usual systems that direct refrigerated air in only one direction at a time. It also differs when compared with daily energy consumption, which is more or less only one cent a day, as all its parts are reusable and the battery can be recharged via a USB port.
In order to realize the prototype, the two young architects turned to 3D printing technology, which proved to be fundamental in keeping the price tag for their device as low as possible.
The material on which their choice fell was wood due to its energy efficiency attributes, as wood has better insulating properties than any plastic material.
Geizeer consists primarily of three parts: the lower support, the diffuser, and the upper fan. Inside the diffuser, it is also possible to insert air freshener granules.
The heart of Geizeer is the diffuser itself that houses the cooling gel ice pack that gradually releases the cold accumulated during its glaciation period in a common refrigerator freezer.
Damiano and Ferdinand launched their project on Kickstarter to raise the funds needed to further promote this brilliant idea and bring it to large-scale production.
