It is advisable to consume the freshest and least processed food that you can find. However, corn is usually bought canned because of the difficulty of cooking whole corn ears!
However, with the trick shown in this video, cooking fresh ears of corn will be much easier. In fact, to separate the sweet corn cob from the green husk and silk without spoiling the yellow corn kernels, just cut off the end of the ear of corn, as shown.
Next, put the ear of corn in a microwave oven for two - four minutes. The heat and steam will make it easier to separate the husk and silk from the corn cob!
