German man builds a real miniature jet plane --- Lift off is spectacular!

For aircraft enthusiasts, creating home-built aircraft, also known as amateur-built aircraft or model planes it is much more than a pastime.  

As a matter of fact, the example which you will see in the video cannot really be called a "model" because the reproduction of details is so perfect that you can only distinguish this replica from the original due to its small size.

Roger Knobel, the man who built this miniature SR-71 Blackbird Jet, completed his project by equipping his remote controlled miniature jet with a fully functional Behotec turbine engine! Just look at it take to the sky and ... fly! Wow!
