A driver sees a pigeon between the vehicles -- what is it doing?

If you think of pigeons as birds that are boring and not very creative then this pigeon, in particular, will make you change your mind!

In the video, a Dutch motorist on a highway was, fortunately, able to film one of these birds as it road the tailwinds of cars speeding on the highway!  This little trick allowed the pigeon to easily reach the remarkable velocity of 100 kph (62 mph). 

Thus, this wily and resourceful bird was able to cover, in a very short time, a distance of over 20 km (12 mi), and then return to its normal life of being a respectable city pigeon!  :)
